Job Description:

Our Product Development & Research facility is located in Carrollton, TX and is focused on being the innovation model for the HVAC industry. Job Description: As an HVAC Technician, you would be responsible for constructing prototype HVAC equipment, conducting performance tests, and utilizing computer based data acquisition systems to capture the data. You’ll need to be able to read schematics, devise, fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. In addition, you’ll review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements for fabrication, assembly and testing. This position offers stability with regularly scheduled 40 hour work weeks and reporting to only 1 location. We offer benefits: medical, dental, vision, employee discounts, and more! Current available shifts: • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (shift differential available) • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (shift differential available) Qualifications: • Requires a high school diploma or GED. • Requires vocational technical training or at least 4 years of related experience • Excellent oral and written communications skills. • Requires working knowledge of reading blueprints, schematics, and using Microsoft Office • Experience in testing and development of air conditioners, heat pumps and/or furnaces (both Residential & Light Commercial) • Working knowledge of heat transfer and air performance • Skill set requirements include EPA Certification for refrigerant handling • Excellent brazing skills, strong HVAC troubleshooting skills, including electrical • Additional desired skills include working knowledge of AHRI 210-240, AHRI 340-360, UL-1995 and ISO 17025 standards Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20-23.00/hour, depending upon qualifications and experience
