Job Description:
Summary: Tempo’s Sales Coordinator and Memberships Specialist will act as a liaison between customers and the company. They will ensure that customer needs are met and manage the day-to-day sales appointments and assist the comfort advisors in closing jobs and ensuring that jobs are ready for installation. In addition, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in growing the Tempo Club Membership (Maintenance Agreement) customer base. Reports to: Sales Manager/Sales Director, Tempo Service Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Schedule Comfort Advisor appointments • Track proposals, acceptances, and schedule installations • Work with Field Supervisors and Department Managers to schedule crews for Residential, Plumbing, Multifamily, and Commercial Service installations • Assist Comfort Advisor/customer with financing applications and processes • Prepare all job-related paperwork for each installation - pull sheets, rebates, financing documents • File for city permits on each job and schedule post job inspections • Building customer relationships while assisting customers professionally and accurately • Serve as the primary inside contact for technicians in the field needing a quote • Schedule component replacements (evaporator coils, compressors, etc.) not requiring a Comfort Advisor visit • Assist in issuing and accounting for purchase orders • Register equipment for manufacturer’s extended warranty • Maintain customer records by updating account information • Serve as a departmental leader for promotion and processing of Tempo Club Memberships (Maintenance Agreements) • Assist in systematic reporting of Tempo Club Membership metrics • Manage Tempo Club Membership renewal processes • Achieve departmental goals in converting new construction customers into Tempo Club members • Navigate Tempo company database platform proficiently • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Advanced customer service skills • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently • Highly organized and self-motivated • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with an emphasis on accountability • Extensive geographical knowledge of Tempo sales area • Excellent communication skills • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with customers and internal Tempo personnel • Able to process high volumes of work with accuracy • Knowledge of the HVAC industry and terminology preferred • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Education and/or Experience • High school degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) • Experience in HVAC or construction is a plus • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel and Word) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Product knowledge of Tempo services a plus Language Skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
