Job Description:
Job Duties for the Field Superintendent – Multi Family Division Construction Paperwork: 1) Ensure all plans are kept to-date accounting for all revisions in a timely manner. Some jobsites are tied to the Procore management program. 2) Write and track RFIs for Division Manager as they arise making sure they are answered in a timely manner. 3) Preform job set up duties A) Coordinate receiving and sending submittals to General Contractor. B) Handle any revise and resubmit requests of submittals with supply reps. C) Send RFIs for cabinet shop drawings, elevator submittals and HVAC submittals. Process each as they come in and submit to Division Manager. D) Set up individual job folders importing information from proposals, bid documents, and other paperwork from bid phase of job. E) Assemble Jobsite paperwork (Safety and MSDS manuals) and deliver to the jobsites 4) Use Procore program to manage documentation on projects associated with the program A) Plan updates B) RFIs/ASIs C) Punch lists D) General communication 5) Job site visits as directed A) Oversee foremen on each jobsite by phone and email at all time. B) Coordinate work with other trades on jobsites as needed. C) Report jobsite conditions to the Division Manager weekly D) Report all changes requested to the Division Manager 6) Preform General duties as directed by the Division Manager Skills Needed: Microsoft Excel – Microsoft Word Basic Computer knowledge (We can train on the Procore and other management systems used) Basic communication skills with General Contractors Basic knowledge of NEC and working knowledge of field procedures as pertaining to Multi-Family construction Basic knowledge of safe work practices Must be licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician Benefits: Vacation & Holiday Pay Health & Dental insurance offered after 60 days Simple IRA
