Job Description:
Performs maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs, and installs heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration equipment and systems for commercial and residential customers. Determines parts, materials, and other related supplies necessary for repairs, maintenance, or modifications; orders or otherwise obtains needed supplies. Analyzes work orders to identify and prioritize needed repairs and maintenance; evaluates systems to identify causes of problems. Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently. Prepares reports documenting work performed. Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairing of commercial/ industrial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems. Must have thorough understanding of HVAC tools, materials, operation, maintenance, and repair. Must have ability to repair, install, inspect, diagnose, and maintain all parts of HVAC system. Must be NATE certified, have completed HVAC training, or have 5-years of experience. Must have a valid driver's license with no driving restrictions and insurable driving record.
