Job Description:
Thermal Concepts family of businesses includes: Thermal Concept and Roth Southeast. We are a full-service mechanical and energy management contracting firm. Our expertise includes HVAC, Refrigeration, Ductwork, Metal Fabrication, and Building Automation Systems. We mostly serve the South Florida area – but we also travel throughout the U.S. for some of our clients. We are a family business and were founded in 1983. We specialize in new construction, service agreements and retro-fit projects. Our approach to customer service is simple: Whatever it takes to get the job done right the first time. Summary The Service Technician is responsible for the companies’ professional image and reputation as well as providing the highest level of efficient customer service to our customers. Technicians are required to perform service repairs and replacements for our customers on an as needed basis 24/7. Technicians are required to be entered into the on-call rotation. They are expected to follow all company guidelines, make quality repairs in a timely manner, take care of all company property, and present themselves in a professional manner at all times. Job Duties: - Provides preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems. - Troubleshoots units that are not working and replaces parts that are defective. - Knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulations - Installs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic control, and humidity control systems. - Understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of the following: - Rooftop Units - Air Handling Units - Wet Systems - Cooling Towers - Chillers - VAV Boxes - Variable Frequency Drives - Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.
