Job Description:
Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Project Manager to join our team. As a member of our project management team, you will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial HVAC projects from commencement to completion. This role will manage all projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements. This position reports to the Vice President of Arc Services Group in our main Jacksonville office. *Oversee project organization, estimating, scheduling, implementation and closeout of multiple projects *Manage financial aspects of the contract, including but not limited to: financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, etc.Monitor installations and ensure work is performed according to company standards and project specifications *Develop and build strong teams for each project while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time and within budget *Communicates job status and changes with customers, subcontractors in a clear and professional manner *Communicates with Customer scope of work, schedule, expectations, pricing, issue resolution, accounts receivable issues, and change orders. Ensure any changes are approved before work is performed *Invests time with field staff on a weekly basis to identify current and future workload, manpower needs/issues and current job status *Follows up with clients throughout installation of the project to ensure client satisfaction *Proactively communicate challenges, risks and successes to management *Develop and maintain successful working relationships with existing customers as well as establishing new clients *Order all equipment and materials from vendors for projects, coordinate deliveries and returns to and from job sites, coordinate material production schedule with the Shop/ Production manager *Plan, schedule, conduct and track regular safety training and safety inspections *Communicate clearly, show recognition and build rapport with employees, co-workers, customers, and vendors *Work closely with Human Resources to organize recruitment, evaluate performance and handle employee relations issues *Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including project owners, general contractors, management and staff *Approve weekly time and time off requests within the Paylocity system *Set clear goals and expectations for foreman and providing feedback for growth *Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns *May perform other duties or be required to work on different projects as needed . Requirements: *High school diploma or equivalent required *Minimum of 8 years of commercial HVAC field experience or controls including chiller/boiler installation field experience *Minimum of 2 years of Project Management or supervisory experience *Demonstrate extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC and/or Piping systems *Relevant technical hands on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems is a plus *Must have proven success managing multiple projects *Knowledge of the mechanical construction business, including estimating, scheduling and cost control, general knowledge of code requirements, ability to read blue-prints, budget preparation, negotiation skills *Must be able to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner *Technology Savvy with Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) *Must be passionate about the work they do and dedicated to learning all aspects of the industry as well as sharing existing knowledge with others *Able to pass math & reading test *OSHA 30 a plus *Must have a valid Drivers License & reliable transportation *Legally eligible to work in the US *Pre-employment background screening (criminal, drug screen and DMV) is required for all positions Benefits Package Includes: *Top industry pay and weekly direct deposit *Company Cell Phone or Cell Phone Allowance *Generous travel per diem *Outstanding Health Benefit Package *Generous paid holidays, vacation and sick days *Matching 401k Program *Life Insurance *Employee referral bonus program *Training and Career Growth Opportunities ARC Services Group is proud to be one of Jacksonville's leading mechanical, electrical and plumbing services.
