Job Description:
A Brief Summary of the Position: Currently hiring for Los Angeles location You will be primarily responsible for performing repairs, maintenance and installation to a variety of equipment including: air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, ductless systems, hermetic compressors, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers and more! A Successful Technician will have... • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Good customer relations and interpersonal skills (professional disposition, upbeat but down-to-earth with a sense of humor) • Excellent organizational and time management skills • A 'self-starter' attitude and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner • Great verbal and written communication skills • Ability to use required technology for the position (training provided) Ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision Responsibilities Include • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades on out of season equipment. • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance. • Responding to service calls in a timely manner Minimum Job Requirements • Three years of experience with HVAC systems. • Valid Driver's License & clean driving record • Ability to pass a background check & drug screen • Ability to lift and maintain holding up to 50 lbs. • Ability to safely climb and balance on a ladder • Ability to work in elevated/high locations (i.e. on roofs) • Verifiable references & work history • Knowledge of parts and tools necessary for each workday’s assigned activities • Possession of hand tools required for the job (list available upon request), other tools necessary are supplied.
