Job Description: House Pro is a Home Performance company that uses a “whole house” approach to diagnose air conditioning and heating issues and provide comfort solutions for our customers. Technicians at House Pro will be trained not only in advanced HVAC diagnostic techniques (duct blaster testing, air balancing) but also in “whole house’ diagnostics (energy audits, blower door testing). House Pro service and maintenance technicians must have excellent communication abilities and customer service skills to complement their technical abilities. We are seeking technicians that have goals and want to be the best at their job.

JOB TITLE: House Pro Service Technician

JOB SUMMARY: Conduct service calls as assigned by the Dispatcher for repair and maintenance of heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment sold or serviced by the Company. Promote the highest level of customer satisfaction by educating the customer about the best solution to their problem. Perform home energy inspections and home energy testing for residential customers.

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete assigned service calls in a professional manner to the best of your ability.
Follow House Pro service call procedures on each call to the best of your ability.
Promote the highest level of customer satisfaction and immediately report any customer service issues to your Service Manager.
Meet or exceed quality (recalls), customer service, and sales goals
Perform all regularly scheduled maintenance on your assigned vehicle including keeping the interior and exterior neat and clean.
Purchase and maintain all tools on House Pro’s list of tools to be supplied by a technician.
Maintain your personal appearance and uniform to the highest standards.
Ask for assistance if problem cannot be diagnosed within a reasonable length of time. (30 min.)
Keep dispatcher informed at all times as to where you are and where you are going.
Notify dispatcher of parts needed for completion of your job.
Follow up with the dispatcher on any pending work.
Secure and maintain your vehicle parts inventory.
Attend and participate fully in all meetings.
Be on time for work.
Complete all paperwork on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of two-year trade school or equivalent experience.
Minimum of two years of field experience.
Mechanical aptitude.
NATE Certification in Air Conditioning withing 90 days of hire.
Whole House Diagnostic Certification within 90 days of hire.
NCI Air Balancing Certification withing first year on the job

Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma
