Job Description: Full time position responsible for selling, renewing and expanding service agreements, including multi-year agreements, for ongoing HVAC and Building Automation Systems (BAS) maintenance to both new and existing customers.

Principle Duties:

Seeks out, targets and initiates with multiple prospective service clients. Identify key business opportunities through cold calling, following up on technician referrals and qualifying leads.
Be capable of identifying HVAC equipment and control devices to accurately evaluate conditions, inventory all components, estimate, and recommend an appropriate maintenance program.
Follow up with owner or designated owner’s representative on new HVAC and BAS installation projects after completion with an in-warranty maintenance proposal.
Sales proposals and presentation must be professional, accurate and compelling. Capable of value selling by providing simple payback calculations, showing increased building reliability, and selling improved tenant comfort.
Utilize provided sales tools to plan and document sales progress for all opportunities. Keep sales manager informed of sales opportunities and progress.
Builds partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision making process to drive Chesapeake Controls service offerings.
Willingly participate in trade shows and professional organizations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline is a plus
3+ years consecutive field sales experience
Minimum one year of selling HVAC or Building Automation System (BAS) service, or related field experience
Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
